The Artist’s Journey
ÂFROM FASHION TO FORM
For years, my creative life was defined by the delicate art of jewelry and fashion, where I spent my time breathing new life into recycled materials. I loved the process of transformation, but as I began to remodel my own home, my perspective shifted.
Â
That question led me to a discovery that would change everything. I stumbled upon the raw, ancient power of natural fibers and minerals. I was captivated by their potential, but I knew I didn't just want to use them—I wanted to understand them.
What followed were years of deep study, relentless experimentation, and quiet research. I spent countless hours in my studio, testing, failing, and learning, allowing the materials themselves to be my teachers.
My sculpture practice was born from this journey of self-discovery. It is not a method I learned in a classroom; it is a "self-found" language, a direct conversation between my hands and the earth.
THE PRACTISE TODAY
Today, my work is the culmination of those years of exploration. I create art that is zero-carbon, compostable, and deeply intentional—pieces that honor the beauty of the present moment, knowing that when their time is done, they will return gracefully to the soil.
